An eye examination is much more that determining if you require spectacles or contact lenses. It is a check on the overall health of your eyes and many signs can be found which help us detect certain general health conditions.
Regular eye exams are important as with many eye conditions prompt diagnosis and treatment if required can help prevent potential sight loss.
We recommend an eye examination every 2 years although some individuals may need their eyes checked more frequently. e.g Children under 16, Diabetics, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration patients.
